WHAT IS GOOOOOOOOOOOD?!!!

hi hi hi! my name is Kelsey + my favorite role to play is a fly on the wall. a.k.a. capturing vulnerable + fragile moments. at about the age of 13, I picked up my momma's camera + started filming short snippets of my family during a vacation. (probably annoyed the HECK out of them— oh well, that’s my job forever!!!!!) and as soon as we got home from our trip, I tossed together a montage of our memories to a tune + was immediately entranced by the power of documentation + watching memories unfold over + over + over again. i fell deeply in love with the idea of being able to use my lens of this world to capture life + all that it entails as well as providing others a chance to relive some of the most meaningful moments in their life. while I grow + infuse with the world around me, I have found that we deserve total + complete honesty towards ourselves. writing + poetry help me to do that. some of my work is presented on this site as those things have become my most sacred and vital forms of expression.

i am recently graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington (go hoosiers!) with a degree in Creative Advertising + Graphic Design. you can spy some of my photo work in PATTERN magazine digital + print + some of my poetry in Working Title magazine based in Bloomington, Indiana.
